Its now finally confirmed, our well beloved TrueCombat veteran REDRUM is actualy the godfather of FPS, John Carmack himself. After he contacted us in november last year, he explained us that he\'s following our activities since the very beginning.
After a very long time of silence and hard discussions we had in the team, it was time to make many hard and also truely great decisions. The next version of TrueCombat is going to be a free, official iD-Software addon for Doom 3 which includes engine enhancements to match the TC requirements.
An official statement by iD Software should follow in the next hours, we had the opportunity to let our fans know it from us.
The development of our current project tce will be stopped immediately. We know this might be very hard to all our fans and supporters, but you\'re not completely lost. tce will be renamed to FooCombat and should be continued by a community member which is capable to set up a new mod team. We\'ll coincidentally choose someone out of the forum-post-count top 10.
