I have been corresponding with Kevin Cloud, co-owner and artist for id Software. From what was said, it is set-in-stone that RTCW 2 is under construction at the moment, and id Software is definitely involved; which is good news for us die hard Return to Castle Wolfenstein fans who want another great entry to the series.

That\'s a pretty typical response to receive as a reporter, so I was not too terribly surprised. But I am glad he took the time to respond at all (unlike other counterparts to id Software ) and I look forward to future correspondences. Until then, keep up the fragging, and don\'t lose enthusiasm over RTCW 2 just yet - it is definitely out there!

이로써 id의 CEO인 토드 홀렌스헤드가 \"QuakeCon 2005에서는 깜짝 놀랄 무언가가 있을 것이다\"라고 언급했던 건 확실히 RTCW 2가 아니었나 싶습니다. 어차피 id가 새로운 프랜차이즈의 신작을 만든다는 사실은 이미 알려진 것이므로 QuakeCon 2005에서 신작을 공개한다고 해도 \"깜짝 놀랄만한\" 것은 되지 못 했겠죠. 하지만 거기다 RTCW 2까지 더해진다면 분명 이야기가 달라집니다. 아무튼 RTCW나 고전 Wolfenstein을 즐겨했던 유저들에게는 매우 좋은 소식이 아닐 수 없겠습니다.^^
